I research Distributed Consensus Systems (DCSes) at the Chair of Connected Mobility at the Technical University of Munich. I started this exploration at Huawei Research at the Applied Network Technology Laboratory in Munich after moving from the Information Theory Group at Freie Universität Berlin, where I studied predictive network control and mutual information for the 5G physical layer. I finished a master's degree in Information Technology and Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin and the Sorbonne University in Paris, respectively, with a grant from the Ministry of Science and Innovation in Ecuador and the European Institute of Technology. Before I moved to Europe, I worked as a systems engineer at the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Central Bank of Ecuador ( on the first CBDC) after obtaining an electronics engineering degree.
