Circuit Theory
Circuit theory is a systematic approach of modeling and analyzing electronic circuits and electrical systems and, thus, constitutes a key field of electrical engineering. At its core lies the representation of the system of interest as an interconnection of components using a network graph, which yields an appropriate mathematical model for the analysis and simulation of electrical systems. Circuit theory is a foundation for the design and operation of many different kinds of systems, with applications ranging from communication to power systems.
