2023 Workshop on Entanglement Assisted Communication Networks (EACN)
On June 19th - 23rd, 2023, the 3rd Workshop on Entanglement Assisted Communication Networks (EACN) will take place at Taipei, Taiwan.
Topics
Shared entanglement is a key enabler to future quantum information processing. Yet, from a technological perspective, it is largely unclear how to transfer ideas and laboratory experiments to technology. This is especially true for the domain of quantum communication. This interdisciplinary workshop focuses on entanglement as a resource assisting classical communication systems. Selected approaches to entanglement-assisted communication will be presented, along with established communication models in classical networking.
Location: Dr. Poe Lecture Hall in the National Taiwan University (NTU) campus. The address is No. 1, Section 4, Roosevelt Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106.
Organizers: Boulat Bash (University of Arizona), Christian Deppe (TUM-LNT), Ray-Kuang Lee (Tsing Hua), Janis Nötzel (TUM-TQSD), Uzi Pereg (Technion), Stefano Rini (NYCU)
Funding: was provided by the DFG via grant NO 1129/2-1 and by the BMBF via grant 16KISQ028, the project 6G-life, and the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST).
