Biography:

Davide Orsucci has studied theoretical physics at the Scuola Normale Superiore and at the University of Pisa, where he graduated in 2014. Afterwards, he joined as a PhD student the group of Prof. Hans Briegel at the University of Innsbruck. There he has conducted his doctoral studies, specializing in quantum computation and quantum algorithms, earning the Ph.D. degree in October 2019. After a short position in the group of Prof. Nicolas Sangouard in Basel, where has worked in the field of quantum optics, he has joined the German aerospace agency (DLR) in June 2020. There, he has joined the "Institut für Kommunikation und Navigation" and specifically the quantum communication group. He is currently providing supporting work in the experimental implementation of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).
