Description
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Execution of test cases and perform analysis of failure test cases looking at Tester/UE logs to localize the issue
- Detailed analysis of failed Test cases to submit reports in internal/external defect database for UE/Test case issues
- Maintaining peak operational efficiency of the broad range of automated and manual equipment that is used to undertake the test activities
- Working with key 3rd party suppliers to ensure that there is no impact on our activities, from necessary maintenance, calibration and upgrade cycles.
Qualifications
Required skills:
- Bachelor Degree or greater in Electronics, Communication Technology or Computer Science,
- Main focus on Telecommunication Engineering desired
- Understanding of mobile communication standards covering 2G, 3G or LTE technologies
- Knowledge in programming languages
- C, C++, etc - Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desired Skills:
- SW test methodology and concepts, test automation
- Some experience with Commercial mobile protocol test systems, e.g. Anritsu 8480/8430, R&S CMW-500, Anite SAT/9000, Agilent 8960.
- Configuration management tools (e.g. ClearCase, ClearQuest)
- Team oriented and self
- dependent working style.
