RGB-D cameras such as Microsoft's Kinect make it possible to easily capture the geometry of an object in 3D.
In this thesis, a method to scan the geometry of a whole room has to be developed and evaluated. Existing open-source algorithms can be used and adapted.
Programming experience in C/C++ is beneficial.
