Prof. Shinji Hara (University of Tokyo, Japan) was awarded the TÜV Süd Foundation Visiting Professor 2013 and the TUM IAS Visiting Fellowship. TUM grants the title TÜV Süd Foundation Visiting Professor to an outstanding scientist or engineer for the current year. Prof. Hara will visit ITR from June 12 to July 2nd and from September 19 to November 18, 2013. During his stay he will give a lecture series on "Glocal Control for Large-scale Networked Dynamical Systems", offer co-advisorship for PhD candidates, Master theses and mentoring.
