Computer Networking and Internet (INHN0015)

Seminar - First meeting: Thu, Oct 24th, 17:00-18:00, Etzelstr. 1

Students choose from a broad range of topics in the area of computer networking and write a scientific paper of four pages. Papers are peer-reviewed by other students, providing feedback for the final version of the paper, which is presented in class. The course ends with the presentation of your paper in a scientif-style talk.

The course consists of a kick-off meeting where we present the general outline and preliminary deadlines. After that, students pick a topic and make contact with their advisor who will provide a starting point for literature. Regular meetings with our advisor (out of class) are recommended. In total, we expect 2-3 in-presence meetings, where the last will be the paper presentation.

Note: INHN0012 (CNS) is a prerequisite for this course unless you already bring a solid understanding of computer networking.
