How do we deal with the old questions of the interplay between progress and the current society in such a revolutionary time. Do we now have to fear that people will soon be replaced by machines? Or do intelligent robots, as the »hammer of tomorrow«, represent an opportunity to make our everyday life and also our working world easier as an intelligent tool in the future, especially in the global context of inhumane work? These are some of the questions addressed by the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) acting director during the lecture series "Wissenschaft für Jedermann" at the Deutsches Museum.
