External Sponsorship or Self Funding

We are always open to PhD applications with external sponsorship or self funding. The applicants are invited to submit their documents at any time of the year, but please make sure to send us your request early enough so that we have enough time for the evaluation. PhD applications should include the following documents:

• A motivation letter describing your research interests, your qualifications, and why you would be a suitable candidate
• A detailed CV
• Academic transcripts from your Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
• Email addresses of at least two references

Interested applicants should send us the necessary documents via email to: applications@mirmi.tum.de quoting “PhD Application, External Sponsorship/Self Funding” in the e-mail subject line.. All applications will be assessed and the successful candidates will be informed about their application.
