Thomas Wiedemann works as a post-doctoral researcher at the chair of “Perception for Intelligent Systems”. He obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 2012 and 2014, respectively. In 2021, he received his Ph.D. in computer science from the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) at Örebro University, Sweden. His research interests include mobile robot olfaction, multi-robot systems, robotic exploration, and gas source localization. Thomas Wiedemann is also affiliated with the Swarm Exploration Group at the Institute of Communications and Navigation at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
