Basics of modulation schemes: Double and single sideband amplitude modulation with the corresponding modulators. Frequency and phase modulation. Distortion caused by modulation. Impact of noisy disturbances. Prinicples of digital modulation schemes: Time discret signals, pulse code modulation, basics of digital signal transmission.
