Gerhard Kramer has been listed by Thomson Reuters as one of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds” for 2014, and one of the 120 most influential researchers in Computer Science. Influence is determined by analyzing citation data over the last 11 years to identify those who published the highest-impact work during 2002-2012. The Thomson Reuters list has some 3,200 individuals who published the greatest number of highly cited papers in one of 21 broad fields. Highly cited papers rank in the top 1% by citations for their field and year of publication.
Ralf Kötter, who headed the LNT from 2007-09, is also included in the list.
