Ziv Goldfeld will be awarded an IEEE Israel 2014 Best Student Paper Award, the certificate will be presented at the IEEEI convention in Eilat, Israel, on Thursday, December 4, 2014. The paper is entitled "Semi-Deterministic Broadcast Channels with Cooperation”. Ziv has been a regular visitor at the LNT over the past 2 years and is supervised by Professor Haim Permuter of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. [read more]

Onur Günlü won the 1st prize in the competition ''Hands-On Project Digital Society'', a competition sponsored by the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation, DAAD, the Goethe Institute, the German Centre for International Migration (CIM), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
