The Rate-X Transceiver of Georg Böcherer, Patrick Schulte, and Fabian Steiner was selected for the final round of the Bell Labs Prize 2015. We will present the potential impact of the Rate-X transceiver on future communication systems to the jury on December 8 in Murray Hill, New Jersey. [read more]

Our work Experimental Demonstration of Capacity Increase and Rate-Adaptation by Probabilistically Shaped 64-QAM was accepted as a postdeadline paper at the peer-reviewed European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC).
