Biography

Zican Wang received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering as the first degree and Computer Science as the second degree in 2018 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Then in 2021, he received the M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Robotics Laboratory In Shanghai Jiao Tong Univerisity, China. In 2021, Zican Wang joined the Chair of Media Technology, TUM school of Computation, Information and Technology, Technical University of Munich to pursue the Ph.D.degree. Currently his research interests focus on haptic teleoperation system, control algorithms, network communication, and relevent technologies like digital twins and perceptual signal quality assessement.

Research

Zican Wang's research interests focus on the optimization and assessment of the control methods and quality of experience of the teleoperation over time-delayed network. Data processing, machine learning, robotics, and virtual reality are also researched as the assistive tools for his main research target.
