No green thumb? All your plants are drying up during the semester break? That's over now. The Chair of Data Processing would like to work with you to develop a smart and energy-efficient robot that takes care of your plants. The robot transports the plant to where it finds the optimal light conditions. It checks the moisture and nutrient salt content of the soil and informs you via your smartphone when the plant needs supplies.

For movement and control you can use current machine learning and control techniques. Sensor technology and monitoring tasks can also be easily taken over by novice programmers. If you want less hardware, you can also take care of the user interface on your smartphone. For the handicraft enthusiasts the complete design of the robot and the assembly using Robotis Stem Kits is ideal.
