The A. James Clark School of Engineering will be inducting Professor John S. Baras into its Innovation Hall of Fame in late October. Baras created algorithms and protocols by which Internet services can be delivered over satellite, beginning with the introduction and demonstration of the first working broadband Internet over satellite protocol in 1994.
