Paskal Kiefer receives the Gademann Master-Award for his thesis


This May 2015, Paskal Kiefer received the Department's Walter-Gademann Award for his Master thesis "A Concurrent Droplet Routing Approach in Continous Space Based on Sequential Convex Programming". He proposed innovative techniques for the design of microfluidic biochips, wich promise to revolutionize many tasks in pharmaceutical and biological analyses. Paskal Kiefer conducted his thesis in Taiwan, as part of a cooperation between Prof. Ulf Schlichtmann and Prof. Tsung-Yi Ho.
