INVITATION
This May, the ARM University Programme [1] in partnership with the Cypress University Alliance [2] will be running a one-day Professor Workshop on Embedded Systems and Internet of Things Using the Cypress PSoC4 BLE platform at the Leibniz Supercomputing Center [3] in Munich.
The objective of this workshop is simple: “train the trainer”, so you are able to share this knowledge with your colleagues and students. We have assembled an excellent team of trainers to ensure that you have a highly productive day.
WORKSHOP CONTENT
* Welcome and Introduction to the ARM University Programme (“AUP”) by the University Programme Manager for EMEA, Robert Iannello
* Introduction to the ARM Internet of Things Education Kit
* Introduction to the Cypress PSoC Creator integrated design environment
* Introduction to BLE and the PSoC 4 BLE architecture
* Hands-on lab exercises
* Q&A and networking discussions

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
These workshops are exclusively for teaching faculty and post-graduate members of academia, and will provide you with the knowledge needed to teach students to use these tools in Labs and Projects. Attendees who complete the full day of training will receive copies of all the training materials used.
DATES & TIMING
The primary workshop is on Wednesday the 27th May - If there is sufficient demand, a second workshop will run on Thursday the 28thth May. Registration at 9:00, workshop begins at 9:30. Close by 17:00
No CHARGE!
Our Professor Workshops are completely FREE-OF-CHARGE for all members of academia. Lunch along with morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided during the day.
ELIGIBILITY
These workshops are only open to post-graduate members of academia. We reserve the right to accept or refuse registrations based on our wish to enable the broadest spectrum of universities to participate. Please note that ARM cannot cover any associated travel and accommodation costs in attending these events.
