About
Santiago Andres Solis Paiva is a PhD candidate in ATARI lab (Co-supervised by Dr. Luca Rosario Buonocore at CERN). He obtained his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University in 2014 and his MSc in Automation and Robotics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2018. Since then, he has worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at CERN, specializing in the development of high-precision piezo-actuated motion control systems, as well as instrumentation and sensor validation for beam intercepting devices. His primary research focuses on piezo-actuated motion systems for robotic applications.
