About

Chi Zhang is a PhD candidate at ATARI Lab. He graduated from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with a Master’s degree in Mechatronics and Robotics. Previously, he was an alumnus of the Underactuated Lab at DFKI GmbH's Robotics Innovation Center (RIC) and the Laboratory of Product Development and Lightweight Design (LPL) at TUM. His current research focuses on combining MPC with learning-based methods to address challenges in loco-manipulation skills in legged robotics and bridging the sim-to-real gap.
