TUM-EDA is happy to host distinguished guests in summer 2012.

Dr. Sani Nassif from IBM Austin Research Laboratory, USA, will stay from April 10 to 12 for a common project on integrated circuit variability.  Dr. Nassif is an IEEE Fellow, a member of the IBM Academy of Technology, and an IBM master inventor with more than 50 patents. 

Prof. Willy Sansen from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, will stay from April to June 2012, and give a master course on Advanced Topics in Analog Integrated Circuit Design. Prof. Sansen is an IEEE Life Fellow, and has been involved in design automation and in numerous analogue integrated circuit designs for telecommunications, consumer electronics, medical applications and sensors, with more than 650 papers.

Prof. Jiang Hu from Texas A&M University, USA will stay from May to August 2012, as a Humboldt Research Fellow on a common project in the area of physical and analog/RF IC design considering variation tolerance and manufacturing variations.

Prof. Tsung-Yi Ho from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, will stay from July 2012 to January 2012 as a Hildegard Maier Research Fellow on a common project in the area of efficient parallel processing for physical design automation using cloud technologies.

Our guests will be available for discussions and give talks, which will be announced separately. We are looking forward to an exciting collaboration.
