Vladimir Podolskiy to visit the University of Waikato, New Zealand in February 2019

he research stay focuses at the machine learning-based self-adaptive cloud

Vladimir Podolskiy from Professor Gerndt's research group in Cloud Computing and IoT will stay at the University of Waikato, New Zealand from 10th of February till 1st of March, 2019. During his research stay abroad, Vladimir will collaborate with Dr. Panos Patros and his group in machine learning-based self-adaptive cloud, in particular SLA-aware predictive autoscaling. The financing of Vladimir's stay is through the scholarship of the University of Waikato and through DAAD.

The University of Waikato is widely known in the world for the machine learning framework WEKA, which exploits GUI to bring the machine learning models and techniques to the users.
