QMPI: A Next Generation MPI Profiling Interface for Modern HPC Platforms by Bengisu Elis, Dai Yang and Martin Schulz was accepted at European MPI User Group Meeting 2019 (EuroMPI ’19), to be held at ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland.

The paper focuses on QMPI – a potential candidate for the next generation MPI profiling interface.

With a modern design, QMPI introduces support for multiple profiling tools with a state-of-the-art design. They present use cases and requirements that drive its development, offering a prototype design and implementation, and demonstrate its effectiveness and low overhead.
