Every year, the Center of Doctoral Studies in Informatics and its Applications (CeDoSIA) honors the best supervisors of doctoral students of the Department of Informatics. Each TUM doctoral candidate can nominate their supervisor for the Supervisory Award.
This years 1st place was given to Professor Martin Schulz (Chair of Computer Architecture & Parallel Systems)
The judges have come to the conclusion that "it has become particularly apparent that Prof. Dr. Martin Schulz is highly committed to guiding his doctoral students in the development of their research questions and the publication process. In addition, he inspires his doctoral students, encourages them to attend conferences outside their core topic, and uses his contacts in industry to support them beyond their doctorate." (See Link of CeDoSIA.)
Many thanks to the doctorol students of the chair who have suggested Prof. Schulz for the CeDoSIA Awards and have honored him in this very special way!
